New Glarus Library Friends Have Successful Giving Tuesday

The Friends of the New Glarus Library have had a successful Giving Tuesday on our first participation of this event. As we had announced previously, our objective was to help furnish the young adults section of the new library building. While we didn’t get enough to completely fund this section, with all our friends’ participation to our first online venture, we made a significant contribution to this area.

Town of New Glarus Switches to New Waste Management Company

We would like to remind all Town of New Glarus residents that we will be switching refuse/recycling companies as of January 1, 2021. You should have received a mailing from Pellitteri Waste Management systems letting you know they would be our new provider. The new bins should have been delivered by Pellitteri the week of December 14-18. Waste Management will be retrieving your old bins on December 28 and 29 alongside their final pick up. Please continue to leave your bins at the end of your drive even after regular refuse/recycling pick up.

Belleville Chamber Offers Free 2021 Membership Option

Most businesses and organizations are expected to have a web presence, and many have their own website, or are listed in general online directories. Still, it can be a challenge to keep your business at the top of the local search list. It can be even more challenging for rural businesses that do not have access to the stable internet connections needed, to make managing a web presence sustainable.
