Recount Completed, Election Lawsuits Filed

Two weeks, two counties and $3 million later, the state of Wisconsin has finished the recount ordered by President Donald Trump’s campaign, which paid the recount fee. The campaign opted to only call for a recount in Dane and Milwaukee counties – the two most populous in the state – rather than recount the entire state at the cost of $7 million.
In the end, President-elect Joe Biden came out with an additional 87 votes and no voter fraud was suspected by election officials. Biden gained 132 votes in Milwaukee County and Trump gained 45 in Dane County.
