The Monticello Community Club will again brave the January cold and cook chicken at the Lake Montesian shelter. The date is January 31, 2021. All details are not available yet; however, chicken will be delivered to local shut ins.
Sign-up sheets will be in local businesses, and a phone number will be published in the next article for the convenience of sign up. Like before, all sales are by preordering. This is BBQ chicken only, not a full meal. More details and costs will be in the next article.
You did it Belleville! Your overwhelming generosity created a heartwarming spirit of giving in our community!
The donations collected during the month of November made it possible to assist 29 families, which included 84 children. Each family received a $70 Burreson’s grocery gift card and each child received a $100 gift card for gift purchases. The families also received a donated $100 Miller and Sons grocery gift card and JonnyO’s pizza coupon.
This happened with the combined efforts of many.
