The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a significant impact on childhood education since schools across Wisconsin and the country closed during the spring of 2020. Managing the start of a school year is challenging in the best of times, and is especially stressful for students, parents, teachers, and school staff during a global pandemic. As the new school year begins, school districts, local health departments, and community members are all working together to keep students, teachers, staff, and their families safe in a number of ways.

New Cardiology Providers Join Monroe Clinic

Monroe Clinic Cardiology is excited to welcome two new providers to the team:
Gurmeet Singh, DO, provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and treatment services for many cardiac conditions with an emphasis in Interventional Cardiology. As an Interventional Cardiologist, he performs many procedures including cardiac catherization and stent procedures. Dr. Singh is seeing patients in Monroe.

Monticello Lions Club News

At the Monticello Lion's Club July meeting, Monticello Fire Department Fireground Captain Ron Blumer and Trustee Brian Grossen provided transportation to the fire station and hosted an informational meeting July 15, 2021, highlighting services provided by the Monticello Fire and First Response as well as sharing thoughts on safety around the home and farm.

Light Up The Darkness – Belleville's 1st Annual Mental Health Awareness Event

Come Light Up The Darkness with us on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Belleville Community Park from 5:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. We will have live music from local band, The Ghosts In The Room, brats, hot dogs, and more, provided by the Belleville Fire Department, baked goods provided by Lingonberry Llama, a 1-mile walk around the park at dusk with glow sticks, a floating water lantern release on Lake Belle View following the walk, a visit from NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of Dane County, and more!
