Once again we will be offering categorized maps and numbered signs for your registered sale for our community wide fall garage sales. Registration forms will be available Friday, August 4th, online at www.monticello-wi.com under our Fall Garage Sale Events tab, or at the Monticello Village Hall.

When: Sunday, September 3, 2017, from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Where: New Glarus Village Hall.
Who: Sponsored by the Friends of the New Glarus Public Library.
What: Our book sale includes many great finds. There are children's books, adult fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs and music CDs. This book sale, along with events and membership donations, raise the funds necessary for the library's facilities and services that are beyond the scope of the library staff and its budget.

The Belleville Kiwanis Club and Belleville Econo-misers will again bring a K4 reading program to community children through the coming school year.
Since 2006, these community organizations have sponsored this program. Seven books are provided and read to young children to foster the adventure of reading. Club members read a book to the class each month. A book is then given to each child to take home for family reading time.

Calling all Blackhawk Technical College prospective students! Do you love your carbs (i.e. pizza) combined with learning about more than 65 career pathways? Do you want to transfer to a four-year college? Do you want to learn about how to make college affordable through grants, scholarships or financial aid? Do you need childcare to attend this event?
On Tuesday, September 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the central campus of Blackhawk Technical College, join us for College Advice and a Pizza Slice.
