Variety Show A Success

The 28th annual Variety Show was enjoyed by all of those in attendance. A special thank you to all who participated and shared their gift of music. Thank you to Danny Klitzke for setting up the sound system, and to T&D’s for allowing us to use the great venue. Thank you to Harvey Kubly who has emceed the event for all 29 years.
In 1988, an event called the Big Splash was held at the school, which was a fundraiser for the new pool. Mary Stenbroten and I thought there was so much talent in Monticello we should have a Talent Show for Homecoming, and the rest is history!

Thank You from the Parade Committee

Once again, a great day for a parade. Thank you to those who participated in our Homecoming Parade. It was wonderful to celebrate 80 years of Monticello Homecoming. It couldn’t be done without the many volunteers, and support. Thank you to all the participants, Jim McNeill for the many years of announcing and Danny Klitzke for always setting up the sound system for the parade on Main Street, plus the many other projects he has for the weekend.
