The New Glarus School District will again be utilizing an Online Registration process for the 2017-2018 school year. Online Registration will be open from Monday, July 17, 2017, through Monday, July 31, 2017, in Family Access. All students must register online or in person prior to starting school in the fall. All fees are due on or before August 15, 2017. More information can be found on our website’s home page at www.ngsd.k12.wi.us.

More than 7,500 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members, advisers, alumni, and guests from across the country gathered in Nashville, TN, from July 1-7, for the 2017 FCCLA National Leadership Conference. The meeting provided Monticello High School FCCLA members with the opportunity to attend leadership and program training, hear national speakers, meet the National Executive Council, and impact a city with the Unlimited Possibilities of FCCLA. Sarah Blumer and Claire Klossner were among the members, and took part in STAR Event competitions at the conference.

The Monticello Lions Club would like to thank anyone who purchased cheese curds or worked a shift or two. It was a successful weekend and we couldn’t have done it without the community’s support and help.  Our donations last year totaled over $20,000.00, with the majority of this money going for local events and scholarships.
