Chenoweth Celebrates 100 Wins

Senior John Chenoweth, New Glarus, won his 100th match of his high school wrestling career, defeating his opponent from West Salem-Bangor 10-0 at the Sauk Prairie Eagle Invitational.  This accomplishment is very challenging to achieve, as it requires an athlete to consistently win and stay healthy over a four-year time frame.
John has been wrestling since he was in first grade as a part of the Sugar River Youth Wrestling Program and as a member of Advance School of Wrestling in Madison.

Monticello 2016 In Review: September - December

<strong>September</strong>
On Thursday, August 25, the Monticello Public Safety Committee held an informational meeting at the school in the Rehmstedt Gym. The subject of the informational meeting was the question of which EMS service the village would choose. Although there were a number of residents who were in attendance, some confusion may have been caused by the changing of the meeting location numerous times. The meeting was first supposed to be held in the school’s library, then it was changed to the computer lab, and finally the gym.
