Feel Good About Giving Back by Donating Blood

Many people want to give back to the community, but may not have a lot of time to volunteer. The American Red Cross reminds eligible individuals that in only about an hour, volunteer blood donors can help save lives and feel instant gratification.
Blood is a perishable product that can only come from generous volunteers. By donating blood, individuals can make a difference in the lives of patients in their community and throughout the nation.

Public Safety Awards Presented

The Stuessy-Kuenzi New Glarus Post #141 American Legion recognizes two public safety members of our community. Each year, local posts are encouraged to recognize public safety personnel for their service to the community. While the program is also a competition that recognizes Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians and Enlisted Guardsman/Reservists at County, District, State and National levels, it is primarily a program which honors those folks for doing their jobs 24.7, and protecting the citizens of our community.
