New Glarus Women's Softball League Reunion

Calling all league players, coaches and sponsors who were involved in the New Glarus Women’s Softball League while it existed. A reunion is being held to get reacquainted with people you haven’t seen since you played ball, to reminisce and just to enjoy the hoopla and hospitality. It should be a fun time for all, so be sure to tell, call, text or email other players, coaches and sponsors. Trivia Night! Friends of the New Glarus Public Library Trivia Night is on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club, W4764 Edelweiss Road, New Glarus, WI. SILENT AUCTION, TOO! Many fun, donated items to bid on and win! The evening of fun and shenanigans starts when the doors open at 5:30 p.m. Trivia starts at 7:00 p.m. Trophies and accolades awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trivia teams.

Village of Monticello Spring Clean Up Day

All Items Must be Separated/Sorted and Curbside By 7:00 a.m., on Monday, April 15, 2019
All debris, excluding brush, must be in an area not larger than 4’wide x 10’ long x 4’ high.
Items accepted are: Furniture and miscellaneous junk, burn barrels to be discarded must be empty, brush and scrap lumber with no tree limbs over 6” in diameter or 8’ in length – in separate pile stacked parallel with street, paint cans must be empty, or open with paint completely dried.

The Village of Monticello E-Recycling event will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at the Recycling Center. The Recycling Center is located at 406 N. Main Street (behind the cheese factory). <strong> This event is for Village of Monticello residents and businesses only.

Monticello Easter Egg Hunt

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Monticello Village Park on Saturday, April 20, 2019, beginning at 10:30 a.m. sharp. Don’t be late, or you’ll miss it!!
The youngest age group is 0-2 years and the oldest age group is fourth grade. The Easter Bunny will be present to greet the children and will also be available for photos.

Third Annual Silent Auction

The Friends of the Belleville Public Library’s Third Annual Silent Auction is underway. This year we have so many nice things to offer thanks to generous donations by community members and local businesses.
There are several American Girl dolls that would be put a smile on any girl’s face, with books and accessories. A former art teacher has donated over a dozen framed photos. They are incredible. Also up for bid are beautiful quilts and other handmade items. And, we have wine.

Primrose Lutheran Church Spring Luncheon

The women of Primrose Lutheran Church, 8770 Ridge Drive, Belleville, WI, are having their Spring, not Summer, Luncheon on Saturday, May 4, 2019. This is a change and one that will allow more folks to come and enjoy the day. The cost will be $8.00 and if you have questions, please the church at (608) 832-4435.
The bazaar and bake sale will start at 11:00 a.m., in Fellowship Hall, with luncheon at Noon in lower dining room. The menu will include hot turkey and pork sandwiches, with salads, beverages and dessert.
The program will start at 1:00 p.m., with Ron and Rosalie.
