The School District of Belleville’s Educational and Facilities Planning Committee, a group that has been working to assess the needs of the district and to develop possible solutions, is seeking the input of community members through a district-wide survey. <strong>The survey, which is anonymous, will be available for completion both online and in print between May 1 and May 21, 2016. </strong>The survey can be found at www.BSDsurvey.com or residents can request a paper version at the school district’s office.

The 2016 Green County Breakfast on the Farm will be hosted Saturday, May 28, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at Jeglum's Twayne Valley Farm, located at N8879 Sunnyside Road, north of Blanchardville, WI, off Highway 78. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 6 – 10 years of age and children 5 years and under are free.

<strong>Treating Pasture as a Crop, Optimizing Forage Production</strong>

The Green’s Prairie Cemetery Association will host its annual Memorial Day Activity on Monday, May 30, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., at the cemetery, or the Town of York hall, depending on the weather.
Area authors Tom Mitchell of Monroe and Dave Green of New Glarus will address us concerning lives of some of the interred in this early secular pioneer cemetery. Tom will focus on one of the War of 1812 veterans and Dave will speak about the migration of the people to this area. Other special topics will be addressed.
