The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC or Commission) encourages electric, natural gas, and water utility customers with outstanding bills to make payment arrangements with their provider or apply for financial assistance before the annual winter heating moratorium on disconnections ends. From November 1st to April 15th, utilities are prohibited from disconnecting customers’ utility service for nonpayment when that service is used for home heating.

Breakfast With the Easter Bunny was held at the New Glarus Elementary School on Saturday, April 9. There were lots of family friendly activities including Bunny pictures, crafts, a magic show and a multi-age egg hunt. A raffle was also held.

All Items Must be Separated/Sorted and Curbside by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022.
All debris, excluding brush, must be in an area not larger than 4’wide x 10’ long x 4’ high.
Items accepted are: Furniture and miscellaneous junk, burn barrels to be discarded must be empty, brush and scrap lumber with no tree limbs over 6” in diameter or 8’ in length – in separate pile stacked parallel with street, paint cans must be empty, or open with paint completely dried.

April 4th through 10th is National Public Health Week, an annual week of recognition hosted by the American Public Health Association for more than 25 years. This year’s theme is “Public Health is Where You Are.”
