Dear Editor,
The Green County Veterans Memorial Committee has worked for the last 12 years on developing a park on County N and Highway 81, at the Pleasant View Complex in Monroe, Wisconsin, to honor and pay tribute to all Green County Veterans deceased and alive. All veterans who have been honorably discharged qualify to have their name on the walls inside the “Hall of Honor” of the newly built pavilion.

<i>The Case for Christ</i> movie: based on the true story of Lee Strobel. In the 1970s, his investigative reporting earned him a promotion to Legal Editor of the <i>Chicago Tribune</i>. Things at home weren’t going nearly as well. A neighbor lady had invited his wife to church. Lee’s wife Leslie becomes a Christian. As her newfound faith in Christ grows and is strengthened, Lee is compelled to utilize his journalistic and legal training to try and disprove the claims of Christianity, pitting his resolute atheism against her growing faith.

The School District of Belleville held a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 8th to officially open the new High School/Middle School facilities. The construction, managed by J.H. Findorff &amp; Son Inc. with designs by Bray Architects, included a sizable addition to the High School's Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics facility (new computer lab, CNC Labs, a traditional wood shop and an automotive shop with a new car lift) as well as a new fitness center, external concession stand and bathrooms.

The Wildcat Cross Country team has already accomplished some exciting things. We have ran in a scrimmage in Milton and competed at Monroe so far this season.
