Wildcats End Regular Season With Two Wins

The Belleville Wildcats boys basketball team hosted Pardeeville on February 24th. Leading at the half with a score of 35-15, the Wildcats slipped a little on offense in the second half but still came away with a win. The final score was Belleville 62, Pardeeville 49.
The Wildcats were led in scoring by Kody Fahey with 21 points, while Trevor Syse scored 14 points and Carson Syse put 9 points on the board.
On February 27th, Belleville hosted Waterloo. Belleville trailed at the half by 8 points, but stepped it up on offense in the second half, scoring 57 points, and won the game 86-65.
Royce Clark poured in 24 points for Belleville to lead the team, while Carson Syse and Kody Fahey scored 13 points each and Trevor Syse and Sawyer Fahey scored 11 points apiece.
The first round of Division 4 WIAA Regionals began on March 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Belleville, who is seeded #7, hosted #10 seeded Necedah. Should Belleville win, they will play at #2 Darlington on Friday, March 6th. The Wildcats ended the regular season in third place in the Cap South, with an overall record of 15-7, and 6-4 in conference play.
