Home ›Yellowstone Lutheran Church to Celebrate 150th Anniversary
The Congregation of Yellowstone Lutheran Church in rural Argyle/Blanchardville is holding a special celebration on July 15, 2018, to commemorate their 150th anniversary as a church. A church service will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by a catered community meal. Special music with include the Point Brass band, combined choir, and soloists. A display of quilts and other artifacts and sale of commemorative items are planned. Individuals will be available to help in the location of the gravesite of a loved one. A golf cart will be available for those with limited mobility. Afternoon music will be provided by Ron and Rosalie from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Cake and coffee and root beer floats will be served in the afternoon.
Yellowstone Lutheran Church is located at 4472 Saints Road, in a rural area between Blanchardville and Argyle. The church sits atop a high hill in Lafayette County in the beautiful Driftless Area of Southwestern Wisconsin.
