<strong>University Of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Holds Commencement Ceremony</strong>
The following individuals from our area are among 3,500 prospective candidates for degree attending University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee commencement exercises Sunday, May 17, 2015, in Milwaukee:  Ashley M. Brusveen, College of Letters and Science, BA - Bachelor of Arts, Belleville; Kaitlin A. Murphy, College of Health Sciences, BS - Bachelor of Science, Belleville; Mersadi J. Hilliard IV, Helen Bader School Soc Welfare, BS - Bachelor of Science, Monticello; Abbigail L. Sommer, Lubar School of Business, BBA - Bachelor of Business Administration, New Glarus.

<strong>Local Student Recognized for Excellence at UW-La Crosse</strong>
Robert Belle, Department of Philosophy, Belleville, attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, is one of the top students in their department in the university’s College of Liberal Studies. The students were recognized at the college’s 14th annual “Evening of Excellence” on campus April 29.
Belle will graduate this spring with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and history. Belle served as a congressional intern for the U.S. Senate while also participating in a summer internship program in American politics at American University in Washington, D.C. Last April, he presented at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research on U.S.-Argentine relations during the Cold War. Belle recently developed a judiciary branch for UW-L’s student government.
