Town of New Glarus Spring Tree Sale

The Town of New Glarus Parks Commission presents their Annual Pre-order pick-up and Day of Sale, Spring Trees program. They will be holding this event at the Town Hall at 1101 Hwy 69, in the Swiss Miss Center, on Saturday, May 9, from 8:00 a.m. to Noon, or until all are sold. This year’s tree types included Sugar Maple, White Pine, Burr Oak, Quaking Aspen, Tamarack and Shagbark Hickory. All trees are bare root and 2-3’ in size, day of sale price is $6.00 each, on a first come first serve basis. Boy Scout Troop 106 and Girl Scout Troop 2037 will be assisting with the distribution of the trees as a fundraiser and all profits will be divided between the two groups.
The commission would like to build its membership in 2015. They meet the third Thursday of the month, at 7:00 p.m., at the Town Hall in the Swiss Miss Center on Hwy 69.
