<strong>UW-Platteville Announces 2018 Fall Graduates</strong>
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville celebrated its 201st commencement ceremonies December 15, 2018, in Williams Fieldhouse. Students from our area who earned their Bachelor’s Degrees, with their major(s), include: Devan Hilleshiem, Belleville, Environmental Horticulture; Paige Dilley, Monticello, Agricultural Business; Briana Austin, New Glarus, Social Sciences Comprehensive; Bethany Bartow, New Glarus, Psychology.
<strong>UW-Platteville Announces Chancellor’s List</strong>
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville announces its Chancellor’s List, honoring those full-time students who earned the very highest academic honors in the fall 2018 semester. Students must maintain a perfect 4.00 grade-point average to earn the Chancellor’s List distinction. Students from our area on the Chancellor’s List include: Kaitlin Hoven, Belleville, Elementary Education; Allison Locy, Belleville, Elementary Education/Spanish; Briana Austin, New Glarus, Social Science Comprehensive.
<strong>Minnesota State Mankato Announces 2018 Fall Semester Dean’s List</strong>
The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean’s lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Marilyn Wells. Among 3,334 students, a total of 875 students qualified for the High Honor List by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 2,461 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the Honor List. To qualify for academic honors, undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours for the semester. Jacqueline Burgess, Monticello, was named to the High Honor List. Burgess is majoring in Dental Hygiene.

UW-Oshkosh Fall 2018 Dean’s List, Honor Roll </strong>
University of Wisconsin Oshkosh officials have announced students who qualified for the University Dean’s List and Honor Roll in fall 2018. To qualify for the honor roll on the UW-Oshkosh campus, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0). Those with a GPA of 3.75 or better qualify for the Dean’s List. Students from our area named to the lists include: Jacqueline Conway, Albany, Dean’s List; Cameron Blankenship, Belleville, Honor Roll; Benjamin Cann, Belleville, Honor Roll; Mikayla Cann, Belleville, Dean’s List; Delia Fullbright, Belleville, Honor Roll; Alex O’Connor, Belleville, Honor Roll; Forrest Havens, Monticello, Honor Roll; Kirbe French, New Glarus, Dean’s List; Tanner Zimmerman, New Glarus, Dean’s List.
<strong>UW-Madison Announces Winter Graduates</strong>
More than 3,320 students received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison during the winter commencement ceremony on December 16, 2018. About 1,300 graduates took part. Here are the degree recipients from our area for the summer and fall of 2018: Joseph Beil, Belleville, College of Engineering, Bachelor of Science-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering; Marissa Berg, Monticello, School of Human Ecology, Bachelor of Science-Human Development and Family Studies, Human Development and Family Studies; Taylor Nealis, New Glarus, College of Letters and Science, Bachelor of Arts, Anthropology.
