Saengerfest 2015 is Seeking Volunteers

On June 18th – 21st the Männerchor New Glarus with the assistance of Jodlerklub New Glarus and many others from New Glarus and Green County will be hosting the North American Swiss Singing Alliance (NASSA) triennial Saengerfest. The organizing committee for the event is asking for your help and is seeking volunteers.
Opportunities to volunteer include assisting at the Competition Singing event or Grand Concert. Other opportunities include assisting in the fest tents as servers or assisting in serving meals at different times during the event. None of these opportunities requires any special training but only a willingness to help provide a great experience to the visitors that will be attending and all are essential to the success of this event.

Grand Concert Tickets and Individual Fest Badges Available Now!
Individual Saengerfest Fest Pins are now available for purchase. The cost of the 2015 Saengerfest Badge is $285 and includes six meals, a ticket to the Competition Singing (an event only available for Fest Badge holders), a ticket to the Grand Concert and entry to all entertainment venues. Individual fest pins may be purchased with cash or check at Esther’s European Imports, 523 First Street in downtown New Glarus, or the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce with cash, check or credit card during regular business hours.
Individual tickets to the Grand Concert, Heimatklänge – Sounds of the Homeland, on June 20th at 6:00 pm in the New Glarus High School gymnasium are also now on sale. Reserved seating on the main floor is $18 and general admission in the bleacher section is $12. Remember, if you purchase a Saengerfest Fest Badge that a ticket for the Grand Concert in the reserved seating section is included.

Grand Concert tickets can be delivered by mail, picked up at the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce office any time before the concert or at the “Will Call” window at the concert entrance the night of the performance.
