New Glarus Receives Award at Wisconsin Department Convention

At the American Legion Department Convention in Middleton, Wisconsin, on July 16, 2016, New Glarus was awarded the National American Legion Post Excellent Award. Stuessy-Kuenzi New Glarus Post #141 received the National American Legion Post Excellence Award for their activities in the four pillars of service. These pillars of service include Veteran Assistance and Rehabilitation, National Defense, Children and Youth, and Community Service.
This is the sixth consecutive year that the post has won this award. The award was presented by National Commander Dale Barnett and Department Commander Dale H. Oatman.
