New Glarus Knights Finish Conference Play Undefeated For Third Year in a Row

On February 18th, the New Glarus Knights boys basketball team hosted Waterloo. The Knights, ahead by 22 at the half, won the game. Final score: New Glarus 94, Waterloo 62. New Glarus ended their conference season undefeated at 10-0 – the third consecutive season to achieve the feat.
Leading the team with 22 points was Jaden Kreklow, while Trevor Gassman scored 21 points, Zach Feller scored 13 points, Mason Martinson scored 12 points, and Mitch Schadewalt scored 10 points.
On February 21st, New Glarus played their last regular season game at Poynette. Leading 41-27 at the half, the Knights outscored Poynette in the second to win the game. The final score was New Glarus 93, Poynette 64.
Jaden Kreklow once again was the high scorer for New Glarus, with 21 points, while Zach Feller put 18 points on the board, Trevor Gassman scored 17 points, and Mason Martinson scored 13 points.
Seeded #2, New Glarus received a bye for the first round of WIAA tournament play and will play the winner of the #7 Luther and #10 Cashton game in New Glarus on Friday, March 1st.
