LORI A. SEVERSON

Lori Ann Severson, age 60, passed away on February 21, 2022.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Paul Elmer; her daughter, Kira Elmer; as well as her parents, Betty (Hanson) Severson and Dennis Severson; her siblings, Cari Severson, Joni Eaton, and Barry Severson; and her beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She is predeceased by her grandparents, Inga and Ray Hanson, Mildred and Burnette Severson; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Colletta and Rolland Elmer.
Lori was born on August 28, 1961, to Betty Lou Severson and Dennis Wayne Severson of Blanchardville. She graduated from Pecatonica High School in 1979, and went on to receive her Master of Business from Edgewood College. Soon after college she began working for Colony Brands, where she would work for 30+ years. In 1986, she married the love of her life, Paul Elmer, in New Zealand. She gave birth to her daughter Kira Elmer in 1998.
Lori loved music, traveling, and above all else: her family. Her quick wit and smile lit up any room she entered. Her family will carry her light with them for the rest of their lives.
The family would like to express special thanks to their friends, Larry Kammerud, Keith Kammerud, Bruce Kiesling, Lauren Severson, Sadie Pattinson, and Ben Duval.
The family would also like to thank the doctors and nurses of the University of Wisconsin Hospital (Madison) and Mayo Clinic (Rochester).
Private family services were held on Monday February 28, 2022, at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.
A memorial fund has been established.
