Lady Knights Ranked Fifth in Division 4 in Coaches Poll

The New Glarus Lady Knights (Division 4) hosted Mount Horeb (Division 2) on January 30th. Leading 55-27 at the half, New Glarus took the win. The final score was New Glarus 77, Mount Horeb 48.
Lindsey Schadewalt led the Knights with 31 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals while Grace Nommensen scored 15 points and had 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal and Elle Lancaster scored 13 points with 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
On February 2nd, New Glarus played at Belleville. Up 39-25 at the half, New Glarus held Belleville to just 10 points in the second half to win the game. The final score was New Glarus 61, Belleville 35.
Scoring 25 points to lead New Glarus was Lindsey Schadewalt, who also had 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks, while Grace Nommensen scored 14 points and had 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks and Payton Schneider scored 10 points and had 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals.
Mikayla Caskey, Maddi DeSmet and Toria Devoe all scored 8 points each for the Lady Wildcats. Caskey had 3 steals, DeSmet had 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block and Devoe had 2 rebounds and 1 assist.
The Lady Knights are now 20-0 and ranked 5th in Division 4 in the Wissports.net coaches poll. They hosted Waterloo on February 7th and will host Wisconsin Heights on February 10th and play at Oregon on February 13th before heading back home to host Marshall on February 16th.
