Glarner Knights Victorious Over Marshall

The New Glarus Knights varsity baseball team played at Marshall on April 12th. The Knights took an early lead and sealed their 13-2 victory with 8 runs in the 7th inning.
Brett Warrell went 3x4 at bat for the Knights, scoring 2 runs, while Easton Dreyfus, Patrick Alt and Ethan Friedrich were all 2x4, with Dreyfus and Alt scoring 1 run each and Friedrich scoring 2. Leyton Mihlbauer, Brennan Butler, Eli Zimmerman all scored 2 runs each, while Dylan Fritz scored 1.
Eli Zimmerman, Brett Warrell and Leyton Mihlbauer shared pitching duties for the Knights. Warrell struck out 2, while Zimmerman and Mihlbauer struck out 1 each.
New Glarus was scheduled to play at Wisconsin Heights on April 19th. They will host Waterloo on April 21st and Black Hawk on April 22nd.
