Gift of Community Committee Looking for New Members

Planning has started for the 2016 Gift of Community dinner, silent auction, volunteer recognition and volunteer of the year roast. The 15th edition of this event will be held February 2016. The silent auction and fundraising benefit the New Glarus Community Foundation, which then contributes $20,000 per year for community projects.
Several members have been on the committee since its inception 15 years ago. Some of these committee members will be retiring after the 2016 event. We are looking for new committee members that could join the committee this year to assist us with the event and also help continue the event into the future.
New members equal new ideas and we are looking to refresh the event. Please contact one of the committee to discuss this worthwhile project. Committee members are Bill Hustad, Kaye Gmur, Gof and Mary Thomson, Suzi Janowiak, Denise Anton Wright, Tammy Newberry, and Patti Salter.
