Belleville Fun Run

Join your friends and family (and maybe even your enemies) for the Belleville Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 8:00 a.m. You have your choice of a 10K run, or a 5K run/walk. The Fun Run will be taking place at Sugar River Park.
The course is flat, with gentle rolling hills in the countryside north of Belleville. Please be aware, this is not a professionally timed event, so there are no chips, no video finish…this is a low-tech, old fashioned run/walk designed to be novice friendly as well as a fun race for the advanced racers.
Water will be available on the course, and you can have fruit after the race. All participants will receive goodie bags.
You may pre-register for the race by Friday, July 24, 2015, by mailing your registration form (found on the Belleville Community Club Facebook page) and payment to N9579 County Road D, Belleville, WI 53508.
Please make checks payable to Belleville Community Club. The pre-registration cost is $15.00; registering day-of will cost $20.00. If you choose to register day-of, it will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. in the park.
Prizes include medals for the top two finishers in both running events in each age/gender category, and will be presented at approximately 9:00 a.m.
The results will be posted on Facebook and in the Post Messenger Recorder.
This event is organized as part of the annual Belleville Community Picnic and your participation helps to raise funds for the Belleville Community Club and its various community improvement projects and high school scholarships.
