Award-winning author Jeff Nania will be sharing how he draws upon careers in law enforcement, conservation, and a passion for natural resources when writing his Northern Lakes Mystery series.
The talk will be held at Belleville Public Library on Thursday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m., in the Community Room. Register at www.bellevillelibrary-wi.org/jeff-nania for either in-person or virtual attendance.
A pioneer in the ecosystem-based approach to restoration and a tireless advocate for conservation education, Jeff has been widely recognized for his work. Outdoor Life Magazine named him as one of the nation's 25 most influential conservationists and he received the National Wetlands Award. The Wisconsin Senate commended Jeff with a Joint Resolution for his work with wetlands, education, and as a non-partisan advisor on natural resources.
Published by Little Creek Press, the three books in the Northern Lakes Mystery series – Figure Eight (2019), Spider Lake (2020), and Bough Cutter (2021) – have been recognized by Midwest Book Awards, Independent Publisher Book Awards, and Next Generation Indie Book Awards.
