10th Anniversary of Exeter Park Celebration

A few of weekends ago, on September 11th, the Exeter Park Committee and The River Ratters joined together to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Exeter Park and the 5th year for the River Rat Reunion, respectively.  It was a great opportunity to reunite old friends, welcome new families, and bring families together.  Summer Haze made the atmosphere so enjoyable with their music!  Thank you VERY MUCH to you and your families!  The morning started off with a fishing contest.  Nice to see families spread out along the banks that were recently cleaned up by the Stoughton Boy Scout Troop as a service project.  Duck Drops were done twice during the course of the day.  Families packed along the shore and at the boat landing to watch and anticipate the ducks arrival and winners. Frisbee throwing contest closest to the hole was brought in some families and hopefully back to the park to experience our full 9-hole course.  Bean bag toss games, a bouncy house, hula hoops, basketball, volleyball, bucket raffles and 50/50 raffles were also available throughout the course of the day.  Food was wonderful and so was the weather!
