Green County Public Health and SSM Health Monroe Remind Parents That Now is the Time to Catch Kids Up on Vaccines and Well-Child Visits

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) recently announced that they were partnering with the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (WIAAP) to urge families to make sure their children are up to date on well-child visits and vaccinations. Green County Public Health and SSM Health Monroe are reiterating this message.

New Glarus Vision Seeking Donations for Their Annual Books 4 Kids Program

New Glarus Vision is a nonprofit organization supporting numerous events and youth sports groups in our community, along with Books 4 Kids.
Books 4 Kids started five years ago with the mission of giving every elementary school student in the New Glarus School District a few books at the end of the school year.

Lori Ann Severson, age 60, passed away on February 21, 2022.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Paul Elmer; her daughter, Kira Elmer; as well as her parents, Betty (Hanson) Severson and Dennis Severson; her siblings, Cari Severson, Joni Eaton, and Barry Severson; and her beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She is predeceased by her grandparents, Inga and Ray Hanson, Mildred and Burnette Severson; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Colletta and Rolland Elmer.
