Raiders Stay on Top of Conference With Victory Over Lake Mills

Last Tuesday, the Sugar River Raiders hosted the undefeated Lake Mills L-Cats (10-0-1) in a show down that kept fans in the packed stands on the edge of their seat cushions. Lake Mills scored first but the Raiders responded. With only one second remaining in the first half, senior forward Ryan Downing sent the team into halftime tying the game 1-1.

42nd Annual Native American Indian Artifact Show

The Badger State Archaeological Society will hold its 42nd Annual Indian Artifact Show on Sunday, October 24, 2021. The event will be held at the Rehmstedt gym in Monticello School, 334 S. Main Street, Monticello, WI, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost of admission is $2.00 for 14 years and older.

Swiss Church Hosting Online Silent Auction

As a part of the 2021 Kilby Homecoming Celebration Season, Swiss Church is hosting an Online Silent Auction.
The Swiss Church 2021 Kilby Season Silent Auction Event officially opened for bidding on Sunday, September 26th, at 12 noon. The site is live for bidding over the next five weeks, with the auction concluding on Sunday, October 31st, at 12 noon.
Members and friends of the church have donated a wide range of wonderful items. Presently, there are 13 items available. (Truly, something for everybody!)

Monticello Fall Clean Up and E-Recycle Event

All items for Monticello’s Fall Clean Up must be separated/sorted and curbside by 7:00 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2021.
All debris, excluding brush, must be in an area not larger than four feet wide by ten feet long by four feet high.
Debris accepted are furniture and miscellaneous junk, paint cans (empty or open with paint dried), empty burn barrels, metal and appliances and all small loose articles, which must be placed in an open, disposable container.
