Hossman Supports Bucher for Judge

Dear Editor,
For me, there is a clear choice for the open seat on the Green County Circuit Court: Jane Bucher. Jane has proven that she is committed to the law and to equal justice. Jane helped bring the first Drug Treatment Court to Green County. Drug courts hold offenders accountable and provide access to treatment which saves lives, reduces crime and saves taxpayer dollars.

Kelly for Circuit Judge

Dear Editor,
I have known Peter Kelly for over 25 years.
Those of us who know Peter Kelly understand why Judge Jim Beer first asked Peter to run for this judicial seat six years ago, and recently endorsed him again for Branch 1 Circuit Judge. Here are just some of the reasons why I feel he is the best candidate:
1. Thirty-six years of general practice law makes Peter the most legally experienced candidate.

Please Be Safe! Clear Snow from Fire Hydrants

With all the snow that the area has seen lately, local fire departments are asking for the public's help in digging out fire hydrants. In cases where a hydrant is completely or even partially buried, it can be difficult for fire fighters to get to the hydrant. The extra time it takes to locate the hydrant can cost someone their home in the event of a fire. Please make sure that fire hydrants have 3 feet of clearance on each side.
