By Barb Anderson and Jane Martinson

These concerts are possible due to a grant from the Community Foundation. As usual, everyone is welcome. Bring your own chairs or blankets and join us between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., in the New Glarus Village Park.

Motorcycle Ride Thank Yous

Monticello Homecoming Motorcycle Ride organizers would like to thank every one who participated in this year’s motorcycle event. Thanks to the generosity to all involved we were able to raise over $1,500 for the Area Empty Stocking Fund.
Once again it was a successful year, even with the gloomy weather forecast. We had approximately 100 people riding more than 60 motorcycles and we managed to complete the route with only a few drops of rain. We rode 115 miles, stopping in Oregon, Rockdale, Indian Ford and Attica before returning to the Monticello Homecoming Event.

Parade Thank Yous

Once again we had a wonderful parade, and it didn’t rain on our parade, which was a concern for a while.  We couldn’t do a parade without the generous donations we receive. A BIG thank you to Nancy Briggs, Ruth Sybers, Green Pastures, Don and Karen Roe, Janet Willman, Dining Room at 209 Main, Kubly Tire and Service, Rebecca Seffrood, Monticello Lionesses, and Barb Unke.
